The efficiency of education in breast-feeding

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu efektivita edukace v oblasti kojení a zaměřuje se na problematiku informovanosti žen prvorodiček v oblasti kojení. Teoretická část se zabývá anatomií mléčné žlázy, mateřským mlékem, zásadami pro první dny, technikami a polohami při kojení, vlivem kojení pro dítě a matku, obtížemi při kojení, organizacemi podporující kojení a edukací. Praktická část se zabývá tím, do jaké míry jsou ženy informované v oblasti kojení. Zda umí používat správnou polohu a techniku při kojení, jaká je frekvence a četnost kojení a jak při problémech pečovat o prsy. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit míru znalostí a dovedností prvorodiček v oblasti kojení při propuštění z oddělení šestinedělí ve srovnání s doporučenými postupy. Výzkum byl proveden u žen, které rodily v městské nemocnici Čáslav, po propuštění z oddělení šestinedělí. Pro výzkum jsme použila metodu dotazníku. Výsledky výzkumu jsou shrnuty v tabulkách a pro lepší přehlednost v grafech.

Abstract:

The thesis deals topic the efficiency of education in breast-feeding and deals of problems knowledge primiparas in breast-feeding. The theoretical part deals with a brief anatomy of mammary gland, breast milk, the first days principals, breast-feeding techniques and positions, the influence of breast-feeding on a child and mother, difficulties related to breast-feeding, the organizations supporting breast-feeding and education. The practical part deals with the level of mothers' awareness in the subject of breast-feeding, their ability to use the correct breast-feeding position and technique, the frequency and amount of breast-feeding and the breast treatment in case of some problems. The mail goal of this bachelor paper was to learn the level of knowledge and abilities in the subject of breast-feeding at the release form the confinement department in comparison with the recommended procedures. The research was made with women who gave birth to their children in the city hospital in Čáslav, after release from the confinement department. A questionnaire was used as a method of the research. The results of the research are summarized in tables and charts for better clarity.
