V úvodní části je definován pojem samotných věcných práv k věcem cizím. V následujících kapitolách, které tvoří největší část práce, je popsán historický vývoj věcných práv k věcem cizím a jejich promlčení od dob římského práva, přes středověk až po současnou právní úpravu. At the beginning of the thesis is defined concept of jura in re. Following chapters, which are the most extensive, are devoted to historical development of jura in re from Roman Law over the Middle Ages to current legislation.
