Return policy in EU: an effective policy in the management of migration flow?

Abstract:

Návratová politika je nedílnou součástí migrační a azylové politiky EU. Přispívá tak k naplnění cíle spravedlivého a transparentního řízení migračních toků v EU. Návratová politika EU je založena na směrnici o navracení, která určuje pravidla pro navracení neoprávněně pobývajících státních příslušníků třetích zemí. Cílem práce je zhodnotit nastavená návratové politiky EU od vzniku návratového fondu v roce 2008 až do současnosti.

Abstract:

Return migration policy is the integrated part of the migration and asylum policy. It supports the long term aim of transparent and fair management of migration flow. The return migration policy is based on the return directive that sets up the regulations for returning the third national country citizens illegaly staying in the EU. The aim of this thesis is to summarize up to date findings concerning return policy of the EU since the creation of the Return fond in 2008 until today.
