Social security and job satisfaction of members of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá sociálním zabezpečením a pracovní spokojeností, včetně sladění osobního a pracovního života příslušníků Celní správy České republiky. Cílem této práce bylo zmapovat postoje a potřeby příslušníků Celní správy ČR v oblasti sociální péče a sociálního zabezpečení a na základě analýzy dat navrhnout případné změny. V teoretickém ukotvení je kladen důraz na několik témat, například Celní správa ČR a její oblasti působení a kompetence. Dále specifika služebního poměru jako je například jeho vznik, druhy a zánik. Přičemž se vznikem úzce souvisí přijímací řízení. Součástí mé práce je také sociální zabezpečení a jeho 3 pilíře, pracovní spokojenost, ke které se pojí pracovní motivace, odměňování, vztahy na pracovišti a v neposlední řadě sladění pracovního a osobního života. Ve výzkumném šetření byla použita kvantitativní metoda za pomoci techniky dotazníku. Provedeným výzkumem jsem zjistila, že všechny čtyři hypotézy, které jsem si stanovila před výzkumným šetřením, se potvrdily a z výsledků výzkumu je patrné, že je většina respondentů na svých pracovištích a pracovních místech, co se týče sociálního zabezpečení, pracovní spokojenosti a sladění osobního s pracovním životem spokojena. Nedostatky, které dotazovaní uvedli, mi posloužily k navrhnutí opatření, které by jejich situaci zlepšily. Přínosem této práce jsou právě zmíněné návrhy na opatření, které by mohly být v budoucnu použity nejen Celní správou ČR, ale i jinými zaměstnavateli, ke spokojenosti jejich zaměstnanců.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is concerned with social security and job satisfaction, including reconciliation of personal and working life of members of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic. The aim of this work was to map the attitudes and needs of members of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic in the area of social care and social security and to propose possible changes based on data analysis. In the theoretical part, several topics are emphasized, such as the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic and its areas of activity and competence. Furthermore, the specifics of the service relationship are discussed, such as its formation, types and extinction. The establishment process is closely related to the admission procedure. Part of my work is also social security and its 3 pillars, job satisfaction, which is connected with work motivation, remuneration, relationships in the workplace and the reconciliation of work and personal life. A quantitative method using a questionnaire technique was used in the research. Research has shown that the four hypotheses I have set before the research have been confirmed, and that research shows that the majority of respondents at their workplaces in terms of social security, job satisfaction and the reconciliation of personal and working life are satisfied. The shortcomings reported by the interviewees served to suggest measures that would improve their situation. The benefits of this work are mentioned proposals for measures that could be used in the future not only by the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic, but also by other employers, to the satisfaction of their employees.
