Evaluation of significant elements of geodiversity in the selected area

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl vyhodnotit významné prvky geodiverzity obklopující vsetínskou kotlinu. Vybráno bylo celkem deset lokalit, z nichž osm je zařazeno do maloplošných zvláště chráněných územích a zbylé dvě se ocitají bez ochrany ze strany státu. Oblast významných prvků geodiverzity je vymezená v rámci sedmi geomorfologických celků, načež nejvíc lokalit se nalézá v Hostýnsko-vsetínských vrších. Vyhodnocování proběhlo podle metodiky koncepce geomorphosites podle Kubalíkové (2012). Po metodickém zhodnocení bylo výsledné bodové hodnocení jednotlivých lokalit srovnáváno mezi sebou na základě hodnocených kategorií: vědeckých hodnot, ostatních hodnot, potenciálního využití, hrozeb a zranitelnosti. Na základě tohoto hodnocení a zpracované literární rešerše byl zpracován edukační program pro skautský oddíl v Hovězí.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis aims to evaluate the significant elements of the geodiversity surrounding the Vsetin basin. A total of ten localities were selected, eight of which are classified as small area specially protected areas and the other two are without state protection. The area of significant elements of geodiversity is defined within seven geomorphological units, of which the most sites are found in the Hostýnsko-vsetínské hills. The evaluation was carried out according to the methodology of the concept of geomorphosites according to Kubalíková (2012). After the methodical evaluation, the resulting point evaluation of individual locations was compared with each other based on the evaluated categories: scientific values, other values, potential use, threats and vulnerability. On the basis of this evaluation and the processed literature research, an educational program was developed for the scout troop in Hovězí.
