Infotainment as a major part of a product of automakers

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analyzovat, jaký vliv má infotainment na rozhodování zákazníků při výběru automobilu, jaké jsou trendy a inovace v této oblasti a jak se liší nabídka infotainmentu mezi různými značkami a segmenty vozů. Práce se opírá o teoretické poznatky z oblasti marketingu, komunikace a technologie a ve finále zakončeno focus group mezi uživateli infotainmentu. Výsledky práce mají ukazovat, jak důležitým faktorem infotainment pro zákazníky při nákupu automobilu je, a zdali preferují systémy, které jsou snadno ovladatelné, kompatibilní s chytrými telefony a nabízejí online služby a hlasovou asistenci. Práce také identifikuje hlavní výhody a nevýhody různých typů infotainmentu a porovnává jejich rozšíření a kvalitu mezi modely značky Škoda a dalšími konkurenty.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the impact of infotainment on customer decision-making when choosing a car, the trends and innovations in this area, and how the infotainment offerings differ among various brands and vehicle segments. The work is based on theoretical knowledge from the fields of marketing, communication, technology and concluded with a focus group among infotainment users. The results of the thesis are intended to show how important infotainment is for customers when purchasing a car, and whether they prefer systems that are easy to control, compatible with smartphones, and offer online services and voice assistance. The thesis also identifies the main advantages and disadvantages of different types of infotainments and compares their prevalence and quality among Škoda models and other competitors.
