Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na historii města Slavkov u Brna v době před bitvou na Bílé hoře. Jsou zde rozebírány první zmínky o zdejším území z doby pravěku, vývoj města ve středověku a raného novověku za doby prvních Kouniců. Hlavní myšlenka práce je od samotné historie směřována přes popis města a jeho rozvoje k hlubšímu bádání o postavení zdejších poddaných, jejich životě a povinnostech, které každý z nich musel vykonávat pro své pány.

Abstract:

Title: The town Slavkov u Brna before the Battle of Bílá hora This Batchelor Thesis focuses on the history of the town Slavkov u Brna before the Battle of Bílá hora. It comprises analysis of the first references to the local region from the prehistoric times, the development of the town during the Middle Ages and early modern times in the period of the first Kounic family. The main theme of the work is aimed from the history itself through the town description and its development to deeper exploration of the local serfs’ status, their life and duties that each of them had to do for their lords.
