Constitutional and political aspects of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou státoprávní a politické aspekty Protektorátu Čechy a Morava s následným cílem jeho definice politicko institucionálního uspořádání a začlenění jej do typologie nedemokratických režimů. Nejprve jsou jednotlivými politology definovány typické znaky, které tito považují za charakteristické u vybraných nedemokratických režimů. V další části je popisován vznik protektorátního celku na českém území, a v několika obdobích práce informuje o vývoji říšské i protektorátní správy. Práce se zaměřuje rovněž na politickou situaci a její vývoj uvnitř českého území okupovaného nacisty a rovněž na protiněmecký odboj. Závěr práce je pak výhradně věnován shora uvedenému cíli.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis are constitutional and political aspects of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia with a view of its subsequent definition of institutional arrangements and political integration into a typology of undemocratic regimes. First, the individual political scientists defined the typical signs that they considered as characteristic for the selected non-democratic regimes. The next section describes a creation of the Protectorate in the Czech Lands, and the thesis informs about the development of the Reich and the Protectorate administration in several periods. The thesis also focuses on the political situation and its development within the Czech territory occupied by the Nazis, as well as the anti-German resistance. The conclusion is then devoted exclusively to the above mentioned objectives.
