Antitumor Immunity And Role Of CTLA-4 in Regulation Of Immune System Activity

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu molekuly CTLA-4 a její funkci v protinádorové imunitě. Byly prozkoumány různé informační prameny a literární zdroje, které se zabývaly studiem historie, strukturou a funkcí molekuly CTLA-4 a také současným využitím molekuly CTLA-4 při léčbě nádorových onemocnění. V literatuře jsou uváděny souvislosti molekuly CTLA-4 s autoimunitními onemocněními. Součástí práce jsou laboratorní metody, které byly použity k analýze molekuly CTLA-4.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the topic of CTLA-4 molecule and its function in antitumor immunity. Various sources of information and literature have been investigated to study the history, structure and function of the CTLA-4 molecule as well as the use of CTLA-4 in the treatment of cancer. In this work, the association of CTLA-4 molecule with autoimmune diseases is reported. The work contains also about the laboratory methods that were used to analyze CTLA-4 molecule.
