Effect of extra-root application of adjuvants on yield and grain quality of malting barley

Abstract:

V průběhu roku 2021 byl založen maloparcelní polní pokus, ve kterém byl testován účinek pomocných látek, listových hnojiv s obsahem huminových látek a tuhých P-hnojiv ve výživě jarního ječmene. Hlavní pozornost byla věnována vlivu těchto zásahů na výnos a kvalitu zrna. Ječmen jarní odrůda Bojos byl zaset po předplodině cukrovce. Na počátku vegetace proběhla aplikace P-hnojiv a během vegetace v různých termí-nech byly aplikovány testované přípravky. Aplikace tuhých P-hnojiv přispěla u většiny variant ke zvýšení obsahu fosforu v sušině rostlin. Společná aplikace humátů, huminů a glycin betainu podpořila tvorbu kořenové biomasy. Počet produktivních odnoží vět-šinově korespondoval s mohutností kořene. Hnojivo HumPhos 66 NP a aplikace humá-tů, glycin betainu v kombinaci s výživou přispěly k nejvyššímu výnosu zrna. Vyšší kvalita zrna byla pozorována po aplikaci tuhých hnojiv. Aplikace HumPhos 66 NP zvýšila objemovou hmotnost zrna (65,93 kg/hl), aplikace HumPhos 44 přispěla k nejvyšší HTZ (49,9 g) a obsahu škrobu (66,0 %). U všech variant s aplikací tuhých P-hnojiv se zvýšit podíl sladařsky využitelného zrna ve srovnání s ostatními varianta-mi.

Abstract:

During 2021, a small-plot field trial was established to test the effect of adjuvants, foliar fertilizers containing humic substances and solid P-fertilizers in spring barley nutrition. The main focus was on the effect of these interventions on grain yield and quality. The spring barley variety Bojos was sown after a pre-crop of sugar beet. P-fertilizers were applied at the beginning of the growing season and the tested products were applied at different times during the growing season. The application of solid P-fertilizers contributed to an increase in the dry matter phosphorus content of the plants in most of the varieties. Joint application of humates, humins and glycine betaine promoted root biomass formation. The number of productive rhizomes corresponded with root vigour. HumPhos 66 NP fertilizer and application of humates, glycine betai-ne in combination with nutrition contributed to the highest grain yield. Higher grain quality was observed after application of solid fertilizers. Application of HumPhos 66 NP increased the grain bulk density (65,93 kg/hl), application of HumPhos 44 contri-buted to the highest HTZ (49,9 g) and starch content (66,0 %). All the variants with application of solid P-fertilizers increased the proportion of malting grain compared to other variants.
