Monetary policy of Germany in 20s of the twentieth century

Abstract:

Tato bakalářka práce se zabývá analýzou finanční přípravy Německa na první světovou válku, průběh financování války, podmínkami mírové smlouvy po válce. Determinuje zdroje pro inflaci akumulující v hyperinflaci. Analyzuje politické, ekonomické, sociální změny během určeného období. Stopuje hospodářskopolitické klima vůči německé politické snaze zmírnit reparační požadavky. Analyzuje přímé a nepřímé zdroje inflace a měnovou reformu provedenou k zastavení hyperinflace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of the financial preparation of Germany for First World War, the course of the war funding, the conditions of the peace treaty after the war. Determines the source of inflation accumulating in hyperinflation. Analyzes politic, economic, social changes during specified period. Traces the climate of economic policy towards the German political effort to prevent reparation claims. Analyzes direct and indirect sources of inflation and monetary reform made to halt hyperinflation.
