Abstract:
This bachelor thesis re-interprets, compares and analyses Charles Dickens' novel Hard Times (1854) and D. H. Lawrence's novel Lady Chatterley's Lover (1928). In these novels both authors react to the cruel conditions of the industrial era which had dehumanizing effects on people. Tato bakalářská práce reinterpretuje, porovnává a analyzuje romány Zlé časy (1854) Charlese Dickense a Milenec lady Chatterleyové (1928) D. H. Lawrence. Oba autoři v těchto dílech reagují na kruté podmínky průmyslové éry, které měly dehumanizující vliv na člověka.
