Artificial Intelligence in Literary Creation and Its Impact on the EU Publishing Industry

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce poskytuje náhled do problematiky AI, jejích literárních výtvorů a dopadů na vydavatelský průmysl. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, jaké nové autorskoprávní otázky a výzvy přináší využití AI v oblasti literární tvorby a jaké jsou jejich dopady na vydavatelský průmysl v Evropské unii. Nejdříve jsou poskytnuty základní informace o fungování AI, následně jsou identifikovány a rozebrány hlavní otázky a výzvy, které může AI přinést, je-li využita k tvorbě literárních textů, a v neposlední řadě se práce zabývá dopady a potenciálem využití AI ve vydavatelském sektoru.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis provides insight into AI, its literary creations, and its impact on the publishing industry. The main aim of the thesis is to identify new copyright issues and challenges that arise from the use of AI in literary creations, as well as the implications for the publishing industry in the European Union. Firstly, background information on how AI functions is provided. Then, the main issues and challenges that AI can introduce when used for the creation of literary texts are discussed. Lastly, the thesis examines the implications and potential of using AI in the publishing sector.
