Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou , návrhem a realizací business intelligence řešení pro vybrané oblasti řízení velké společnosti elektrotechnického průmyslu. Práce odráží teoretické znalosti a praktické dovednosti autora na vytvoření reportů. Při tvorbě reportů se autor zaměřil na oblast řízení skladu. Data pro jednotlivé reporty jsou postavena na tabulkách a transakcích ze systému SAP ERP. Tímto způsobem lze reporty snadno implementovat v jakékoli výrobní společnosti využívající tento systém. Pro dosažení tohoto cíle si autor stanovil několik dílčích cílů, které zahrnují představení konceptu BI, analýzu elektrotechnického průmyslu a největší výrobní společnosti v odvětví, vymezení problematiky řízení výrobního podniku a návrh a realizaci reportů pro efektivní řízení skladu. K dosažení těchto cílů přispěla autorova praxe v oblasti BI, studium relevantních předmětů na Vysoké škole ekonomické v Praze a využití literárních a elektronických zdrojů. Díky kombinaci praktických zkušeností a teoretických poznatků byl autor schopen lépe porozumět problematice a efektivně vytvářet reporty, které přispějí k lepšímu řízení skladu výrobní společnosti. Na základě analýzy a poznatků z jednotlivých dílčích úkolů autor následně zpracoval Business Intelligence v nástroji Qlik Sense.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis covers the analysis , design and implementation of a business intelligence solution for selected management areas of a large company in the electrical industry. The thesis reflects the author's theoretical knowledge and practical skills to create reports. In creating reports the author focused on the area of warehouse management. The data for each report is based on tables and transactions from the SAP ERP system. In this way, the reports can be easily implemented in any manufacturing company using this system. To achieve this goal, the author has set several sub-objectives which include introducing the concept of BI, analyzing the electrical industry and the largest manufacturing company in the industry, defining the issues of manufacturing company management and designing and implementing reports for effective warehouse management. The author's experience in BI, study of relevant courses at the Prague University of Economics and Business and the use of literature and digital resources contributed to the achievement of these objectives. Through a combination of practical experience and theoretical knowledge, the author was able to better understand the issues and effectively create reports that will contribute to better warehouse management of a manufacturing company. Based on the analysis and insights from the individual subtasks, the author subsequently developed Business Intelligence solution in Qlik Sense.
