Abstract:

GEBAUER, V. Aspekty a vize zavedení emisní normy Euro 7. Bakalářská práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2024. V bakalářské práci je čtenář seznámen s komplexním přehledem nové emisní normy Euro 7, jejího legislativního základu a s reakcemi automobilového průmyslu na tuto normu. Práce nejprve čtenáře uvede do problematiky negativních externalit silniční dopravy se zaměřením na dopady na životní prostředí a lidské zdraví. Podrobně je zkoumán kontext zavedení normy Euro 7, zahrnující přehled norem a legislativ, které Euru 7 předcházely. Následně je představen původní návrh Eura 7 a jsou diskutovány změny, kterými norma prošla. V analytické části je za pomocí Pearsonova koeficientu korelace zkoumána existence vztahu mezi Human Development Indexem (HDI) a počtem registrací nových vozidel u vybraných zemí EU-27. Hlavní myšlenkou je, že země s vyšším HDI mají tendenci rychleji obnovovat svůj vozový park. Závěr této práce poukazuje na paradoxní situaci, kdy přísnější normy mohou mít negativní vliv na stáří vozového parku. Diskuze nabízí alternativní řešení pro rychlejší obnovu vozového parku. Práce také klade důraz na potřebu mezinárodní spolupráce a kompromisu mezi ekonomickými a ekologickými cíli, aby bylo možné dosáhnout udržitelného rozvoje v automobilovém průmyslu.

In the bachelor thesis, the reader is introduced to a comprehensive overview of the new Euro 7 emission standard, its legislative basis, and the automotive industry's responses to this standard. The thesis initially acquaints the reader with the issues of negative externalities of road transport, focusing on the impacts on the environment and human health. The context of the introduction of the Euro 7 standard is examined in detail, including an overview of the standards and legislation that preceded Euro 7. Subsequently, the original proposal of Euro 7 is presented, and the changes the standard has undergone are discussed. In the analytical part, the existence of a relationship between the Human Development Index (HDI) and the number of new vehicle registrations in selected EU-27 countries is examined using the Pearson correlation coefficient. The main idea is that countries with higher HDI tend to renew their vehicle fleet more quickly. The conclusion of this paper highlights the paradoxical situation where stricter standards may have a negative impact on the age of the vehicle fleet. The discussion offers alternative solutions for faster renewal of the vehicle fleet. The work also emphasizes the need for international cooperation and compromise between economic and environmental goals in order to achieve sustainable development in the automotive industry.
