Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vlivu parodontitis chronica na celkový zdravotní stav člověka a je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se v úvodu zaobírá zánětem z hlediska pato-fyziologie, buňkami účastnících se zánětu a rovněž mediátory zánětu. This thesis is focused on the connection of chronic periodontitis to whole-body health. It is divided into two major parts, which are the theoretical and practical parts. The onset of the theoretical part dis-cusses the pathophysiology of inflammation and the aetiology and pathogenesis of chronic periodontitis.
