Parallel Programming and Data Structures in C++
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá paralelizací v oblasti informačních technologií. Nejprve je popsána samotná problematika paralelizace a poté pozornost náleží vybraným knihovnám s podporou paralelního přístupu v jazyce C++. U knihoven je sepsán stručný přehled dostupných prostředků a dále otestován výkon. Na závěr je také přiblížen koncept lock-free datových struktur.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis focuses on parallelism in information technology. First part describes parallelism in theory and then gives an insight into chosen libraries with thread support in C++. Following part summarizes basic parallel tools provided by each library and tests them for performance. Last part of the thesis is dedicated to lock-free data structures.
