Hyaluronan je přirozeně se vyskytující glykosaminoglykan, který je součástí extracelulární matrix. V lidském těle nemá pouze strukturní funkci, ale je součástí mnoha biologických procesů jako je adheze či buněčný pohyb, je signální molekulou a mimo jiné hraje roli i v kancerogenezi a dalších patologických procesech. Abstract:
Hyaluronan is naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan of extracellular matrix. HA has not only a structural function in human body, but it is a part of many biological processes such as adhesion or cell movement. HA is also signaling molecule and also plays a role in cancerogenesis and other pathological processes.
