Conjugated Thiophene Derivatives Bearing Electron Donor and Carbonyl Groups

Abstract:

Konjugované deriváty thiofenu nesoucí elektron donorní a karbonylové funkční skupiny mohou vystupovat jako prekurzory pro tvorbu složitějších push-pull chromoforů. Tato práce pojednává o obecné charakteristice a vlastnostech push-pull chromoforů a jejich využití zejména v optice a elektronice. Dále byly shrnuty metody příprav a využití derivátů thiofenu nesoucí donorní jednotky a karbonylové funkční skupiny jako elektron akceptorní jednotky. Byly připraveny čtyři finální aldehydy na bázi thiofenu nesoucí piperidin-1-yl donorní jednotku a ty byly dále zkoumány pomocí UV-VIS absorpční spektroskopie, diferenční skenovací kalorimetrie a rentgenostrukturní analýzy.

Abstract:

Conjugated thiophene derivatives bearing electron-donor and carbonyl functional groups may act as precursors for the formation of more complex push-pull chromophores. This work discusses the general characteristics and properties of push-pull chromophores and their utilization in optics and electronics. Furthermore, it summarizes the methods of preparation and use of thiopehene derivatives bearing donor and carbonyl functional group acting as an electron acceptor. Four target aldehydes based on thiophene with piperidin-1-yl donor group were syntetized. These were further investigated by UV-VIS absorption spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray analysis.
