Abstract:

Praktickou část mé diplomové práce tvoří soubor ilustrací k literárnímu dílu Alenka v kraji divů. V těchto ilustracích usiluji o vystižení fantazijní atmosféry příběhu, přičemž považuji za podstatné to, aby obsahově souvisely s textem, ale aby nebyly pouhým jeho přepisem, nýbrž obohacením o nové kvality, jejichž cílem je vyvolat bohaté imaginativní představy. V teoretické části se věnuji uměleckým charakteristikám osobností, které jsou s tímto dílem spojeny, okolnostem jeho vzniku, jeho zařazení v oblasti literatury a jeho přínosu pro různé umělecké obory. Dále stručně charakterizuji pojem ilustrace a zaobírám se základními specifikami ilustrace určené dětem a mládeži. Významnou součástí teoretické části mé diplomové práce jsou reflektivní úvahy vztahující se k mým vlastním ilustracím, které zahrnují i zařazení mého díla do kontextu současného výtvarného umění. V přílohách teoretické části předkládám mimo jiné i text, který je překladem anglických zdrojů a poskytuje unikátní informace vztahujících se k tématu umělecké spolupráce Lewise Carrolla a Johna Tenniela. V didaktické části se věnuji možnostem uplatnění tématu mé diplomové práce ve výuce výtvarné výchovy.

Abstract:

The practical part of my thesis is formed by a collection of illustrations to the literary work Alice in Wonderland. In these illustrations I strive to catch the phantasy atmosphere of the story, whereas I consider as relevant that they relate to the contents of the text, however they are not its mere rewriting, but they shall enrich the work with new qualities whose aim is to evoke rich imaginative ideas. In the theoretical part I devote myself to a depiction of artistic characteristics of personalities connected with this work, circumstances of its origin, its classification in the sphere of literature and its contributions to various branches of art. Next I characterize the concept of illustration and I deal with the basic specifications of illustration intended for children and young people. An important part of the theoretical part of my thesis is devoted to reflections in connection with my own illustrations, which also include a classification of my work in the context of the present fine arts. In the appendix of the theoretical part I present a text, among others, which is a translation of English source texts and provides unique information concerning the topic of the artistic cooperation of Lewis Carroll and John Tenniel. In the didactic part I devote myself to possibilities of using the topic of my thesis in the lessons of art education.
