Analysis of Training and Development in a Selected Company with a Focus on Competences Needed for Industry 4.0

Abstract:

Digitální kompetence jsou pro společnost přínosem, protože umožňují efektivní a inovativní využití digitálních technologií v pracovních procesech a zvyšují konkurenceschopnost a produktivitu zaměstnanců i celé organizace. Cílem práce zaměřené na digitální kompetence je zlepšit a rozšířit schopnosti a znalosti jednotlivců v oblasti digitálních technologií, aby mohli efektivně využívat digitální nástroje v pracovním i osobním životě. Pro sběr dat byly využity tři metody - dotazník, rozhovor s ředitelkou personálního oddělení a analýza interních dokumentů. Hlavním zjištěním je, že společnost je otevřená k různým školením včetně digitálních dovedností, avšak někteří zaměstnanci pociťují nedostatek digitálních dovedností. Proto společnosti bylo doporučeno identifikovat potřeby svých zaměstnanců pomocí hromadných testů a realizovat následně v problematických oblastech školení.

Abstract:

Digital competences are beneficial for the company because they enable the effective and innovative use of digital technologies in work processes and increase the competitiveness and productivity of employees and the entire organization. The aim of digital competence work is to improve and expand the skills and knowledge of individuals in the field of digital technologies so that they can effectively use digital tools in their work and personal lives. Three methods were used for data collection - a questionnaire, an interview with the director of the personnel department and an analysis of internal documents. The main finding is that the company is open to various trainings, including digital skills, but some employees feel a lack of digital skills. Therefore, the company was recommended to identify the needs of its employees using mass tests and to subsequently implement training in problematic areas.
