Legal regulation of working hours and rest periods in Czech Republic and EU countries

Abstract:

Diplomová práce shrnuje právní problematiku pracovní doby a doby odpočinku v České republice a v zemích EU. V první kapitole se zaměřuje na vymezení základních pojmů pracovně právních vztahů. Diplomová práce nezapomíná ani na historický vývoj této problematiky a na současné problémy rozvržení pracovní doby, problematiky doby odpočinku, práce přesčas, noční práce, pracovní pohotovosti a na zvláštní pracovní podmínky a pracovní dobu a tím i spojenou dobu odpočinku u zaměstnanců mladistvých a zaměstnankyň, zaměstnankyň – matek a zaměstnanců pečujících o dítě. Diplomová práce je postavena na srovnávání právních úprav České republiky s ostatními členskými státy EU. V diplomové práci nezapomínám ani na vliv Mezinárodních smluv, kterými je Česká republika vázaná a ani na to, že Česká republika je členem EU a je vázaná legislativou Evropské Unie. Diplomová práce je zakončena před závěrem evidencí pracovní doby.

Abstract:

This thesis summarizes the legal issues of working hours and rest periods in the Czech Republic and EU countries. The first chapter focuses on the definition of basic concepts of labor relations. This thesis does not forget the historical development of the problem and the current problems working time, rest periods issues, overtime, night work, work readiness and the special working conditions and working hours, and thus the associated rest period for employees and young workers who - mothers and staff caring for the child. The thesis is based on the comparison of legal regulations of the Czech Republic with other EU Member States. In this thesis we do not forget the influence of international treaties by which the Czech Republic is bound, nor the fact that the Czech Republic is a member of the EU and is bound by legislation of the European Union. The thesis is completed before the end of the working time records.
