The view of teachers and teaching assistants on their mutual cooperation in joint education in kindergarten

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku spolupráce asistenta pedagoga a pedagoga při společném vzdělávání v mateřské škole a to tak, jak ji vnímají tito aktéři výchovně vzdělávacího procesu. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. V teoretické části je nastíněno inkluzivní vzdělávání, jeho definice, východiska a myšlenky. Dále je objasněn termín podpůrných opatření a jejich legislativní ukotvení. Hlavní část teoretické části je věnována asistentovi pedagoga, vývoji této profese, legislativního ukotvení, jeho náplní práce, doporučením pro zavádění této funkce a také pro spolupráci s pedagogem. Teoretickou část uzavírají výsledky výzkumných šetření zaměřené na spolupráci asistenta pedagoga a pedagoga. Empirická část je věnována vlastnímu výzkumnému šetření, kde hlavní výzkumnou otázkou bylo, jak vnímají spolupráci asistent pedagoga a pedagoga při výchovně vzdělávacím procesu. Je zde popsána metodika a realizace výzkumného šetření. Výzkumná data byla sbírána pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a analyzována metodou otevřeného kódování. Empirickou část uzavírají výsledky výzkumného šetření a jejich souvislostí s dosavadními výsledky jiných výzkumů. Výzkum odhalil, že spolupráci aktéři vnímají jako dobrou. Výzkum odhalil nedostatky v nastavování této spolupráce a při fungování ve výchovně vzdělávacím procesu. Hlavním výsledkem bylo, že spolupráci aktéři hodnotí spíše z hlediska osobních vztahů než její efektivitu při společném vzdělávání.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the issues of cooperation between the assistant teacher and the teacher during joint education in kindergarten, as it is perceived by these actors in the educational process. It is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part outlines inclusive education, its definitions, starting points and ideas. Furthermore, the term support measures and their legislative anchoring are clarified. The main part of the theoretical part is devoted to the teaching assistant, development of this profession, legislative anchoring, its job description, recommendations for introducing this function and also for cooperation with the teacher. The theoretical part is concluded by the results of research surveys focused on cooperation between the teaching assistant and the teacher. The empirical part is devoted to the research itself, where the main research question was how the assistant teacher and teacher perceive cooperation in the educational process. There is described the methodology and realization of the research. The research data were collected using semi-structured interviews and analyzed by the open coding method. The empirical part is concluded by the results of the research and their connection with the previous results of other researches. Research has revealed that cooperation is perceived by the actors as good. Research has revealed shortcomings in setting up this collaboration and in functioning in the educational process. The main result was that collaborators evaluate cooperation more in terms of personal relationships rather than its effectiveness in joint learning.
