Hlavním tématem této bakalářské práce je hnutí tzv. rozhněvaných mladých mužů, které vzniklo na počátku 50. let ve Velké Británii. Rozhněvaní mladí muži vyjadřovali ve svých dílech nesouhlas s poválečnou situací, předsudky vyšších vrstev, vývojem literatury i s programem tzv. státu blahobytu (the Welfare State). The main theme of this Bachelor Thesis is the movement of the Angry Young Men which emerged in the 1950s in Great Britain. The Angry Young Men expressed in their works the disagreement with the post-war situation, prejudices of the upper-class, with the development of the literature and with the programme of the Welfare State.
