Contexts of persecutions of Christians in the Roman Empire
Abstract:
Záměrem této práce je formulovat příčiny perzekucí křesťanů a ostatních náboženských skupin za pomocí rozboru právních pramenů, ale zejména za pomocí rozlišení charakteristik těchto skupin v dílech pohanských autorů, jakož i zpráv o jednotlivých perzekucích.
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with the causes and circumstances of the persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire before year 250 CE. Its aim is to identify the main accusations faced by Christians and to determine how and why the nature of the accusations changed during the period.
