Business environment of India and business relations with the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce analyzuje podnikatelské prostředí Indie. K této analýze využívá analýzu PEST. Nejprve jsou vymezeny základní pojmy spojené s podnikatelským prostředím, základní charakteristiky Indie a její historický vývoj a dále se práce podrobněji zaobírá PEST analýzou indického podnikatelského prostředí. Zaměřuje se na právní, politické, ekonomické, sociální, kulturní a technologické prostředí. Závěrečná kapitola se podrobněji zaměří na obchodní spolupráci Indie a České republiky, zhodnotí její současný vývoj a identifikuje exportní příležitosti českých firem. Také se zaměří na spolupráci s agenturou CzechTrade a její potenciální výhody pro české firmy. Závěrem práce bude vyhodnocení případových studií zaměřující se na českou firmu vyrábějící cukrovinky a její možný vstup na Indický trh a vyhodnocení zkušeností českých firem již působících na indickém trhu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis analyzes the business environment of India. This analysis uses PEST analysis. Firstly, the basic concepts related to the business environment, the basic characteristics of India and its historical development are defined and the thesis deals with PEST analysis of the indicator business environment. It focuses on the legal, political, economic, social, cultural and technological environment. The final chapter will focus more closely on business cooperation between India and the Czech Republic, will evaluate its current developments and identify the export opportunities of Czech companies. It will also focus on cooperation with CzechTrade and its potential benefits for Czech companies. The conclusion of the thesis will be the evaluation of case studies focused on the Czech confectionery company and its possible entry into the Indian market and evaluation of the experience of Czech companies already operating in the Indian market.
