Web application for ordering currently unavailable products

Abstract:

The main goal is to create a web application in the Django framework with the usage of the Python language and library Rect for JavaScript. The resulting application has the ambition to provide solution in area of online shopping currently unavailable products. Application checks for product availability in real-time, and if the product becomes available it is automatically ordered for the user. In the introduction, the author deals with reasons for the origin of thought to create a web application of this type and outlines possible reasons for the small availability of a large number of products. The thesis is mainly devoted to the process of development and implementation of this application, preceded by an analysis of currently available solutions and a summary of the legislative scope. It also explains how the application works in the background, possibilities of use by users, or or troubles and challenges through the process of creation and application deployment. The end summarizes the thesis and states the possibilities of future extensions of the application and possible ways to increase its efficiency.

Abstract:

Cieľom práce je vytvorenie webovej aplikácie vo frameworku Django za pomoci jazyka Python a knižnice React pre jazyk JavaScript. Výsledná aplikácia má ambíciu poskytnúť riešenie v oblasti internetového nakupovania pri produktoch, ktoré sú označené ako nedostupné resp. momentálne ich internetový obchod nemá na sklade. Aplikácia v reálnom čase zisťuje dostupnosť produktov a pri ich opätovnom naskladnení automaticky vytvorí pre užívateľa objednávku. Úvod zaoberá dôvodom vzniku myšlenky na vytvorenie webovej aplikácie tohto typu a načrtáva možné dôvody nízkej dostupnosti veľkého množstva produktov. Práca je venovaná hlavne postupom vývoja a implementácii tejto aplikácie, ktorej predchádza analýza aktuálnych dostupných riešení a zhrnutie legislatívneho rámca. Zaoberá sa aj vysvetlením fungovania aplikácie na pozadí, možnosťami využitia aplikácie užívateľom, či prekážkami a výzvami v procese tvorby a nasadenia. Záver práce sa zaoberá zhodnotením a možnými spôsobmi budúceho rozšírenia a zefektívnenia aplikácie.
