Černínské Chudenice: the cradle of the genus and an aristocratic residence in the 18th century

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá rodem Černínů a stavební činností v Chudenicích, o níž se tento rod významně zasloužil. Šlechtický rod Černínů byl od nepaměti spojen s městysem Chudenice v jihozápadních Čechách. První zmínky spatřujeme již ke konci 12. století, ale z důvodu nedostatečného množství archivních pramenů můžeme jejich rodovou historii sledovat až od 14. století. Od 15. století se černínský rod dělí na jednotlivé linie. Jednou z nich je linie chudenická, která je hlavním tématem této práce. Cílem bakalářské práce je sepsat životy představitelů chudenické větve ve zmíněném století a vytvořit přehled památek, jejichž vznik souvisí právě s tímto rodem. Práce je sestavena z archivních pramenů a z odborné literatury.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the Czernin family and its construction activities in Chudenice, in which it made a great contribution. The Czernin family has always been associated with the southwest town Chudenice. We can already find the first mention in the end of the 12th century, but the lack of archival resources causes, that we can first follow the family history in the 14th century. Ever since the 15th century the Czernin family has been divided into different branches. One of these branches is the Chudenice branch, which is the main theme of this thesis, particularly in the 18th century. The aim of this thesis is to summarize the lives of the members of the Chudenice branch in the 18th century and to make a list of the monument whose origin is tightly connected to this family. This thesis is a compilation of archival sources , the registry collections and other specialized literature.
