Factors of long waiting period and impact on client`s psyche at internal emergency ambulance of district hospital Mlada Boleslav

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na psychiku pacientů. Cílem je informovat zejména zdravotnické pracovníky o tom, jak pacienti prožívají dlouhé čekání na ošetření a vyšetření. Konkrétně jsem se rozhodla, že zjistím, jaký vliv má dlouhá čekací doba na psychiku pacientů. Mým úkolem bylo také zmapovat, co je objektivní příčinou dlouhé čekací doby a jaká je vlastně průměrná čekací doba pacientů na interní příjmové ambulanci Oblastní nemocnice v Mladé Boleslavi. Výše zmíněnou problematiku jsem se rozhodla zkoumat pomocí dotazníkového šetření a přímého pozorování. V teoretické části seznamuji čtenáře se základními fakty, které jsou nezbytné k pochopení dané problematiky. V praktické části se zaměřuji na splnění vytyčených cílů.

Abstract:

Study is focused on client's psyche. The purpose of study is to inform, especially the medics, about how patients feel during long waiting period before they are examined or attended. I decided to focus on finding the impacts on clients (client's psyche) and factors of long waiting period. Part of the study is also an analysis of reasons of long waiting period and finding of an average waiting period at internal emergency ambulance of district hospital Mlada Boleslav. This analysis has been done by interviews, questionnaires and observations with the patients. Theoretical part of the study is a summary of basic facts regarding the above mentioned topic to help understand the subject of this study. In the second part of the study I have applied the knowledge from theoretical part to fulfill the objectives of my study.
