Web application as a tool for monitoring the health of projects by determining employee satisfaction with projects at CN Group company

Abstract:

Cílem předkládané diplomové práce je návrh a implementace modelu do stávající aplikace pro měření kvality projektů ve společnosti CN Group CZ a.s. Úvod práce se zabývá obecnou analýzou projektového řízení, uvádím, jaké se používají metriky projektového řízení a jak pomocí měření řídit projekt, aby jeho přínosy převažovaly nad náklady. V další části práce je prezentován stav projektového řízení ve společnosti CN Group CZ a.s., a to zejména s ohledem na to, jak se postupně vyvíjelo hodnocení zdraví na projektech, a rovněž to, jaký dopad na projekty hodnocení ve výsledku má. Následuje krátký přehled technologií použitých při vývoji webové aplikace pro měření kvality projektů ve společnosti CN Group CZ a.s. Praktická část projektu se věnuje analýze a průběhu implementace modulu do webové aplikace. Konec práce hodnotí úspěšnost implementace a nastiňuje další možný rozvoj dodaného modulu aplikace.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is the system architecture design and implementation into current application to be able to measure a quality of projects in CN Group CZ a. s. company. The introduction describes the general analysis of a project management, metrics description used in project management and the usage of this measurements to coordinate the project, so the benefits outweighed the costs Follow-up part is focused on the state of project management in CN Group CZ a. s. with a special attention to history and current situation of project health check measurement in parallel with information about the impact that these measurements have on the project. The practical part of the project is devoted to the analysis and implementation of the module into a web application. Also, a short list of used technologies is included with a brief description. The end of the thesis evaluates the success of the implementation and outlines further possible development of the finished application module.
