Historical and Legal Milestones in Drawing State Border in Northern Part of Kysuce, Orava and Spiš Region
Abstract:
The thesis is focused on a historical-legal analysis of state border forming in the Kysuce, Orava and Spiš regions, in the north of today’s Slovakia. Currently it is a state border of Slovakia with Poland and the Czech Republic. From a historical perspective they are the borders of the Kingdom of Hungary with Moravia, Silesia and Lesser Poland (Poland or Galicia depending on the historical epoch). …more
Abstract:
Práca je zameraná na historicko-právnu analýzu utvárania štátnej hranice v regiónoch Kysuce, Orava a Spiš, na severe dnešného Slovenska. V súčasnosti ide o štátnu hranicu Slovenska s Poľskom a Českou republikou. Z historického pohľadu ide o hranice Uhorska s Moravou, Sliezskou a Malopoľskom (Poľskom alebo Haličou v závislosti od historického obdobia).
