Analysis of the limits and benefits of the current care for modern war veterans of the 31st Regiment of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection of the Army of the Czech Republic from the point of view of social work

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu péče o novodobé válečné veterány. Cílem této práce je vyzdvihnout přínosy a najít limity současné péče u 31. pluku radiační, chemické a biologické ochrany Armády České republiky na základě pohledu novodobých válečných veteránů. Tedy zjistit, jak současné služby vnímají uživatelé služeb, zda současné služby odpovídají jejich potřebám, jaké očekávání mají vojáci od současných služeb, zda jsou dostatečně využívány a případně zvýšit povědomí o těchto službách. Důležitý je také postoj velitelů a poskytovatelů k samotným službám. Nelze také opomenout benefity a výhody, které jsou vojákům k dispozici. Práce byla zpracována na základě hloubkových rozhovorů, které byly zrealizovány s veliteli, poskytovateli služeb u 31. pluku a samotnými veterány. Rozhovory byly zrealizovány s 10 narátory a podmínkou byla minimálně jedna účast v zahraniční operaci za posledních alespoň 5 let. Z výzkumů vyplývá, že narátoři jsou spokojeni se současnými službami. Služby jsou v současné době využívány minimálně ze strany vojáků, přestože vojáci mají o službách dostatek informací.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the topic of care for conterporary war veterans. The aim of this work is to highlight the benefits and find the limits of current care in the 31st Regiment of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection of the Army of the Czech Republic based on the perspective of modern war veterans. That is, to find out how current services are perceived by service users, whether current services meet their needs, what expectations soldiers have from current services, whether they are sufficiently used and, if necessary, increase awareness of these services. The attitude of commanders and providers to the services themselves is also important. The benefits and advantages that are available to soldiers cannot be forget either. The work was processed on the basis of in-depth interviews, which were conducted with commanders, service providers at the 31st Regiment and the veterans themselves. The interviews were conducted with 10 narrators and the condition was at least one participation in a foreign operation in the last at least 5 years. Research shows that narrators are satisfied with current services. Services are currently used at least by soldiers, although soldiers have enough information about the services.
