Geolocation in Connection with the Protection of Persons and Property

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o problematice geolokace v souvislosti s ochranou osob a majetku. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část, která je dále členěna na analyticko-empirickou a aplikační část. Teoretická část definuje použitou terminologii, analyzuje základní principy a mechanismy, které tvoří základ geolokačních technologií, analyzuje aktuální požadavky právních aspektů a implementaci geolokačních technologií do každodenního života. Praktická analyticko-empirická část se věnuje analýze současného stavu využívání geolokačních technologií v oblasti ochrany obyvatelstva, zaměřuje se na existující systémy a jejich účinnost v předcházení rizik a poskytování řešení v krizových situacích, současně jsou zde nastíněny jejich přínosy a omezení. Praktická část se také věnuje návrhům a doporučením vycházející z provedené analýzy o možných strategiích a zlepšení využití geolokačních technologií s ohledem na aktuální technologické a legislativní trendy.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis discusses the issue of geolocation in connection with the protection of persons and property. The work is divided into a theoretical and practical part, which is further divided into an analytical-empirical and application part. The theoretical part defines the terminology used, analyzes the basic principles and mechanisms that form the basis of geolocation technologies, analyzes the current requirements of legal aspects and the implementation of geolocation technologies in everyday life. The practical analytical-empirical part is devoted to the analysis of the current state of use of geolocation technologies in the area of population protection, it focuses on existing systems and their effectiveness in preventing risks and providing solutions in crisis situations, at the same time, their benefits and limitations are outlined here. The practical part is also dedicated to proposals and recommendations based on the performed analysis on possible strategies and improving the use of geolocation technologies with regard to current technological and legislative trends.
