Comparison of Russian and Czech superstitions (Christmas and New Year Period)
Abstract:
Magisterská práce se věnuje českým a ruským vánočním a novoročním pověrám. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části byl definován pojem pověra a následně se provedla klasifikace nejdříve českých, poté ruských vánočních a novoročních pověr. Praktická část se zabývala komparací shromážděných pověr obou kultur.
Abstract:
The master´s thesis is dealing with Czech and Russian Christmas and New Year superstitions. The paper is devided into theoretical and practical section. The theoretical section first defined the term superstition. Then the classification was made first of Czech, then Russian superstitions at Christmas and New Year. The practical part compares collected superstitions of both cultures.
