Teaching Czech through Computer Assisted Language Learning at Secondary Schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Využití počítačových nástrojů ve výuce českého jazyka na střední škole se zabývá tvorbou pracovních listů, které lze použít k přípravě na procvičování maturitních didaktických testů z českého jazyka a literatury. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol. První z nich je věnována základním informacím a funkcím jednotlivých počítačových nástrojů (Slovo v kostce, SyD, IJP, Neomat, Čeština2.0, DeriNet). Ve druhé kapitole se nachází shrnutí požadavků pro studenta ke společné části maturitní zkoušky a obecné informace k maturitní zkoušce. Třetí kapitola obsahuje analýzu několika konkrétních maturitních didaktických testů, kapitola čtvrtá pak obecné analytické shrnutí. V poslední kapitole se nachází pracovní listy, které čerpají z poznatků rozboru maturitních testů a samotných jazykových nástrojů. V této části se objevuje popis tvorby listů, jejich podoba a využití.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis titled Teaching Czech through Computer Assisted Language Learning at Secondary Schools deals with the process of creating worksheets that can be used as a practice for the Maturita didactic tests in Czech language and literature. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first one presents basic information on several computer tools and their functions (Slovo v kostce, SyD, IJP, Neomat, Čeština2.0, DeriNet). In the second chapter, there is a summary of student requirements for the main part of the Maturita school-leaving exam, and general about the exam. The third chapter features an analysis of several Maturita didactic tests, chapter four then a general analytical summary. The last chapter consists of worksheets which draw on the findings derived from the analysis of both the didactic tests and the language tools themselves. This chapter also includes a discussion on the worksheets’ creation process, form, and use.
