Changes and differences in the body composition of the professional soccer players during a selected period

Abstract:

The aim of this Master's thesis was to investigate changes in selected functional parameters of the body composition of professional football players during the period under review. For the subject of our research, we have selected functional parameters of body composition. The research sample consisted of 51 professional football players from three selected football clubs, aged 25.7 ± 4.63 years. All of the players completed a total of two measurements: before the start of the winter preparation period 2019 and then shortly after the beginning of the spring season of the 2018/2019. The values of individual selected body composition parameters were measured using the InBody 230 or Tanita BC-418. Neither of the monitored clubs showed any significant differences between the two measurements within the referenced period. However, the findings from the point of view of differences in selected body composition indicators between individual player positions were demonstrably significant.

Abstract:

Cílem této magisterské práce bylo zkoumání změn vybraných funkčních parametrů tělesného složení profesionálních fotbalových hráčů, v průběhu sledovaného období. Předmětem hodnocení našeho výzkumu byly vybrané funkční parametry tělesné kompozice. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo celkem 51 profesionálních fotbalových hráčů, tří vybraných fotbalových klubů ve věku 25,7 ± 4,63 let. Všichni hráči absolvovali celkem dvě měření: před začátkem zimního přípravného období 2019 a následně krátce po začátku jarní části mistrovské sezóny 2018/2019. Hodnoty jednotlivých vybraných parametrů tělesného složení byly naměřeny pomocí bioimpedanční přístrojů InBody 230, resp. Tanita BC-418. Ani v jednom ze sledovaných klubů se neprokázaly významné rozdíly mezi oběma měřeními v rámci sledovaného období. Zjištění z hlediska odlišností vybraných ukazatelů tělesného složení mezi jednotlivými hráčskými pozicemi však byly prokazatelně významné
