Pre-reading literacy in Kindergarten Obrnice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na rozvoj předčtenářské gramotnosti u dětí ze sociálně vyloučené lokality v mateřské škole v Obrnicích. Obsah teoretické části je věnován výkladu pojmu předčtenářská gramotnost, je zdůrazněn význam rodiny a mateřské školy při rozvoji předčtenářských dovedností a je poukazováno na oblasti, které je ovlivňují. Dále je v teoretické části charakterizován předškolní věk a řešena také problematika dětí se sociálním znevýhodněním. Praktická část práce se skládá ze tří částí výzkumu. První část je zaměřena na děti se sociálním znevýhodněním a jejich úroveň předčtenářských dovedností. Druhá část je soustředěna na pedagogy z mateřské školy s cílem zjistit, jak u dětí předčtenářskou gramotnost rozvíjejí. Třetí část je věnována rodičům dětí z mateřské školy a jejich podpoře při rozvíjení předčtenářské gramotnosti. Výzkum probíhal formou poslechu čteného textu s porozuměním, rozhovorů a dotazníků.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the development of pre-reading literacy on kids from a socially excluded locality in Obrnice Kindergarten. The theoretical part of this work is focused on explaining the meaning of the term pre-reading literacy as well as emphasizing the importance of family and kindergarten over development of pre-reading skills and point out areas which affect them skills. Furthermore, the theoretical part characterizes preschool age and also focuses on the problematics of kids with social disadvantages. The practical part consists of three research pieces. First one is focused on kids with social disadvantages and their level of pre-reading skills. The second one is focused on kindergarten teachers with the goal of finding out how they affect the pre-reading literacy of children. The third part is devoted to the parents of the children from kindergarten and their part in the development of pre-reading literacy. The research took the form of listening to the text being read with understanding, conversations and questionnaires.
