Role of crime prevention assitant and its benefits in Moravsky Beroun

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá realizací a vlivem projektu "Asistent prevence kriminality" v sociálně vyloučené lokalitě Moravský Beroun. V úvodu představuje základní pojmy jako prevence, prevence kriminality, sociálně vyloučená lokalita a rovněž se zabývá příčinami vzniku sociálně vyloučených lokalit vztažených k Romskému etniku. V další části práce popisuje důvody a průběh zřízení pozice asistenta v Moravském Berouně s charakteristikou hlavních kriminogenních faktorů. Praktická část práce se zabývá projektem "Asistent prevence kriminality", kdy je jeho účinnost ověřena pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu, formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s vybranými aktéry a lidmi, kteří se na projektu svým působením podílí. Přináší odpovědi na základní otázku, zda byla jeho realizace v Moravském Berouně přínosem, a také odpověď na otázku, co má na úspěšnost jeho realizace významný vliv.

Abstract:

Thesis is concerned with the realization and the impact of the "Crime Prevention Assistant" project in the socially excluded area of Moravsky Beroun. In the introduction, the author defines terms such as prevention, crime prevention, socially excluded area, while at the same time he is concerned with the causes of the creation of such socially excluded areas with regard to the Romani ethnic minority group. In the next section, the author describes the reasons and the process of creation pozition an assistant in Moravsky Beroun, with characteristics of main crime-causing factors. In the practical section of the thesis is concerned with the "Crime Prevention Assistant" project, of which the effectiveness is verified by the incorporation of quality research, the latter in the form of semi-constructed interviews with selected people who help in the project by their participation and engagement. The same section of the thesis provides with an answer to the original question, that being if the project was successful in Moravsky Beroun, as well as the reasons which made the project to have a positive impact.
