Temperature Control of the Incubator Model

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je navrhnout a řídit teplotu modelu inkubačního zařízení. První část se věnuje základním pojmům z termodynamiky, které poskytují především základní informace o přenosu tepla. Na základě těchto informací je navržen reálný inkubátor. V další části jsou odvozeny matematické modely pomocí fyzikálního modelování a pomocí experimentální identifikace. Na základě modelu získaného z experimentální identifikace je navrženo několik regulátorů. Nejprve je inkubátor řízen pomocí relé. V další části je uvažováno řízení pomocí metody Gain Scheduling, kde je nejprve provedena simulace v Simulinku s následným nasazením na reálný systém. Poslední metodou řízení je metoda na základě jednoho modelu a jeho uvažovaných perturbací. Všechny návrhy řízení prošly sadou testů, jejichž výsledky byly porovnány a zhodnoceny. Nakonec bylo vytvořeno jednoduché uživatelské rozhraní.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to design and control the temperature of a model incubation device. The first part deals with the basic concepts of thermodynamics, which mainly provide basic information about heat transfer. Based on this information, a real incubator is designed. In the next section, mathematical models are derived using physical modeling and through experimental identification. Based on the model obtained from experimental identification, several controllers are proposed. Firstly, the incubator is controlled using relays. In the next section, control using Gain Scheduling method is considered, where first simulation is performed in Simulink followed by deployment on real system. The last control method is based on one model and its considered perturbations. All the control designs were put through a set of tests, the results of which were compared and evaluated. Finally, a simple user interface was created.
