Influence of political situation in Egypt at tourism

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak politická situace v Egyptě ovlivňuje tamní příjezdový cestovní ruch. Práce se zabývá obdobím posledních dvaceti až třiceti let, avšak hlavní pozornost je věnována posledním dvěma až třem rokům, kdy v Egyptě a ostatních zemích arabského světa proběhla vlna protivládních demonstrací. Na základě komparace statistických dat o příjezdovém cestovním ruchu s událostmi, které tento vývoj mohly ovlivnit, bude určen vliv politické situace v Egyptě na příjezdový cestovní ruch země.

Abstract:

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out, how the political situation in Egypt is influecing local arrival tourism trade. The thesis is inquring into the period of last twenty to thirty years, however the main focus is devoted to last two or three years, when in Egypt and other countries of the Arabian world were hit by a wave of anti-government protests. Based on comparation of statistical data of arrival tourism trade with the events, that could have influenced this development, we will identify the influence of political situation in Egypt on arrival tourism trade of the country.
