In the World of Middle-earth and Narnia, a comparative study
Abstract:
Diplomová práce "Ve světě Středozemě a Narnie (srovnávací studie)`` analyzuje a porovnává texty Pána Prstenů J.R.R. Tolkiena a Letopisy Narnie C.S. Lewise. Přestože každý z autorů využívá jiných postupů a výsledné texty jsou odlišné, lze najít společné rysy: nereálné pohádkové světy s vlastním časoprostorem, konfrontaci s běžnou realitou a především boj Dobra se Zlem.
Abstract:
The thesis " In the World of Middle-earth and Narnia, a comparative study`` compares and analyses texts of The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R.Tolkien and The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. We can find similarities as well, even though the authors use different narrative techniques and the contents of their texts differ.
