Complicated Way to Acceptation. Women in the World of Professional Medicine 1900-1939 and Their Image in the Scientific Discourse and Popular Journals
Abstract:
Práce se je věnována osudu prvních českých lékařek, na jejich profesní kariéru a jejich osobní život v průběhu let 1900-1939. Je zde vykreslen jejich boj o dosažení vysokoškolského vzdělání. Práce si kladla za cíl přiblížit, jak se měnily genderové stereotypy v průběhu této doby.
Abstract:
The thesis is aimed on the allowance of women to access the university studies, concretely to access studies at Medicine Faculties. There are described gender stereotypes, which were common at the turn of the 19th and 20th century and which were distorted by woman emancipation.
