In 2009, after twelve years, the unified political representation of the Hungarian minority in Slovakia fell apart. V roku 2009 sa po dvanástich rokoch rozpadla jednotná politická reprezentácia maďarskej národnostnej menšiny na Slovensku a do súčasnosti sa jej záujmy snažia hájiť dve politické subjekty: Strana maďarskej komunity a strana MOST-HÍD.
