Convolution in kernel estimates
Abstract:
Diplomová práce je zaměřena na využití konvolucí v jádrových odhadech hustoty. Hlavní pozornost je věnována metodě pro výpočet vyhlazovacího parametru. Tato metoda je aplikována na Gaussovo jádro a poté na jádro čtvrtého řádu, které je odvozeno z Gaussova jádra.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on the using of convolutions in kernel estimates of density. The main attention is devoted to the computation of bandwidth. The mentioned method is applied to the Gaussian kernel and to the four order kernel derived from Gaussian kernel.
