Práce se zaměřuje na hlavní ženské postavy biblické knihy Rút. Interpretuje příběh knihy s ohledem na historické a kulturní podmínky. Zabývá se otázkou doby vzniku a autorství a dalšími tématy, které s knihou souvisejí, jako je levirátní zákon, vztah vyvoleného národa k cizincům, sváteční svitky, konverze k židovství. This work focuses on the main female characters in the biblical book of Ruth. It interprets the story of the book in the light of the historical and cultural conditions of the time.
