Topical Questions of Fundraising of Political Parties in Czech Republic

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá aktuálními otázkami financování politických stran v České republice. První část se věnuje právnímu rámci, zejména zákona o sdružování v politických stranách a hnutích. Kromě rozboru jednotlivých typu, je v této kapitole také srovnání se zahraniční úpravou, a to s Francií, Německem a Velkou Británií. Dále obsahuje i úvahy de lege ferenda. Druhá kapitola se pak věnuje přímo aktuální hospodářské situaci našich největších stran (tj. všech zastoupených ve Sněmovně) a dále několika menších. K této kapitole jsou přiřazeny i úvahy o možné změně, která by celé financování zpruhlednila. Poslední část se pak zabývá aktuálními mediálními kauzami, které se týkají financování politických stran. Jde o Kauzu Drobil a Kauzu podplácení ve Věcech veřejných.

Abstract:

This work deals with Topical Questions of Fundraising of Political Parties in Czech Republic. The first part analyzes the legislation in our state funding. For comparison, in the first part also outlines the legislation of foreign countries, namely, the French Republic, The Republic of Germany and the United Kingdom of Great Britain. The second chapter describes the specific economic situation of some Czech political parties, all represented in the House of Parliament of the Czech Republic and the few that were not selected. This overview is complemented with the opinion of some politicians who, in response to heavy losses caused by massive electoral campaigns, themselves looking for ways to save money The last chapter is about the corruption cases, which were associated with the financing of political parties. The first is known as the “Case Drobil” and the second as “Bribery scandal in Public affairs” (political party). The work proved a strong link between politics and finance in general, for example it was shown that the current policy without money cannot work, the parties are dependent on income, because their own resources far do not cover costs that have, especially in the period before the election.
