Thesis deals with creating digital elevation models of desired areas with assistance of publicly available global digital elevation models. Práca sa zaoberá tvorbou výškového modelu zvolenej oblasti pomocou verejne prístupných globálnych výškových modelov. V teoretickej časti je stručne popísaný význam terénu, výškové modely, spôsoby získavania dát o povrchu, mapové projekcie a metódy sieťovania digitálnych výškových modelov.
