Generalized additive models and flexible hazard regression
Abstract:
V této práci jsou nejprve zavedeny základní pojmy, metody a modely analýzy přežití, a poté se práce věnuje zobecněným aditivním modelům. V poslední části textu jsou tyto metody aplikovány na reálný datový soubor, který tvoří informace o HIV pozitivních lidech. Konkrétně bylo modelováno riziko smrti u pacientů s diagnózou AIDS.
Abstract:
The first part of this thesis describes basic concepts, methods and models of survival analysis. Then the thesis is focused on generalized additive models. In the last part, these described methods are applied on real data. The dataset includes information about HIV positive people. Specifically, we modeled risk of death for the patients diagnosed with AIDS.
