Morfological analysis of Russian Particle 'by' in conditional in Czech and Russian in a comparative aspect

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá shodami a rozdíly především v morfologii ruské částice «бы» a jejího českého ekvivalentu – kondicionálového morfu. Naši práci jsme rozdělili tradičně na dvě části – teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části osvětlujeme základní problematiku nejprve částic a poté námi vybraného jevu ke komparaci – slovesného způsobu podmiňovacího. Definujeme termíny jako částice, kondicionálový morfém, slovesný způsob, slovesný způsob podmiňovací, podmiňovací způsob přítomný a minulý. Praktická část je sestavena na základě excerpce ruských děl uměleckého stylu – klasické literatury, moderní literatury, literatury pro děti a publicistického stylu. Jako protiklad ruskojazyčných textů nám posloužily české profesionální překlady, o překlad publicistických textů jsme se pokusili sami. Excerpce zaznamenáváme do přehledných tabulek. Naším cílem je zhodnotit frekvenci výskytu částice «бы» jak v samotného podmiňovacího způsobu, tak jeho typů a jejich četnost v jednotlivých publikacích. Také se zaměřujeme na překlady částice «бы». Svoje závěry a poznatky předkládáme v části Závěr.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on similarities and differences (mainly in morfology) of the Russian particle "бы" and its Czech equivalent – the conditional morfema. The thesis is divided into the Theoretical and the Practical part. In the Theoretical part we explain firstly the main characteristics of particle and secondly the conditional mood in order to make a comparison. The main terms include particle, conditional morfema, the mood, the conditional mood, past conditional and present conditional. The Practical part is formed on the basis of excerption of different Russian publications of the fancy style including the classical literature, modern literature, literature for children and the publicistic style. To compare and contrast the Russian texts, the Czech proffesional translations are used. Publicistic texts were translated on our own. Excerption is noted in the tablets. The aim of the thesis is to asses the frequency of the occurance of particle "бы" in the conditionals as well as in their different parts and publications. The thesis focuses on the translation of "бы". The results are highlighted in the Conclusion.
