Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vztahem mezi Západem a Východem a střetem dvou rozdílných kultur v Súdánu. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na vyobrazení tohoto střetu v díle súdánského spisovatele at-Tajjiba Sáliha, Cesta na Sever. This master's thesis examines the relationship between the West and the East and the clash of these two cultures in Sudan. Specifically, it focuses on the depiction of this clash in the Sudanese writer Al-Tayyib Salih's work, Season of Migration to the North.
